Government Initiative Supports 162,000 Women in Family Life Enhancement
The Ministry of Family and Social Services has positively impacted the lives of over 162,000 women through various programs across Turkey.
The Ministry of Family and Social Services has made significant strides in promoting family welfare by supporting the social, cultural, personal, and professional development of women across Turkey. Through the operation of 571 Family Support Centers, the ministry has reached out to 162,000 women in the past year, providing them with valuable resources and training.
Under the guiding principle of 'strong women, strong families, and a strong Turkey,' the ministry has organized various vocational courses tailored to the needs and demands of local communities. These courses, facilitated by skilled instructors from public education centers, cover a wide range of subjects, including arts and crafts, sewing, clothing production technologies, jewelry design, and more.
Participants in these programs have the opportunity to contribute to their family economies by selling products they create at regularly held fairs. Additionally, the centers host seminars, conferences, health screenings, and cultural events such as theater and film screenings, further enriching the community's engagement and support.
This initiative not only empowers women by enhancing their skills but also fosters a sense of community and collaboration among participants. By providing these resources, the Ministry of Family and Social Services is actively working to strengthen family structures and improve the overall quality of life for women throughout Turkey.
